Biography
Miou Tanaka (田中 美央) is a Japanese actor and voice actor. Born on 4 July 1974 in Kita, Kōbe, Hyōgo, he graduated from the Department of Performing Arts at Osaka University of Arts before joining the theatre company Haiyuza. He remained a member until February 2022 and is now affiliated with Empathy.
Tanaka is known for his role as Captain Tatsuo Hotta in the film Godzilla Minus One (2023). He has appeared in the Kingdom film series (2022–2024) as Yuan and provided voice performances in anime including Kaiju No. 8 (2024) as Juzo Nogizaka, MEGALOBOX (2018) as Chief, and My Oni Girl (2024) as Mikio Yatsuse. He is also the bassist for the band Air Language.
