Biography
Moira Kirland, also credited as Moira Kirland-Dekker, is an American television writer and producer. She began her career in development at Steven Bochco Productions before moving into writing and producing, with early credits including Dark Angel (2000).
She has written episodes of Castle (2009), including "Ghosts" and "Inventing the Girl", and Hawaii Five-0 (2010), and served in producer roles on both series. Other writing credits include Medium (2005), Arrow (2012), Madam Secretary (2014) and The Rookie (2018). She created and served as showrunner on the series The InBetween (2019). In 2016 she received Voice and Sentinel awards for her Madam Secretary episode "Invasive Species".
