Biography
Alexi Hawley is an American television writer, producer and showrunner. He began his career writing screenplays before receiving his first screen credit on the 2004 film Exorcist: The Beginning. He joined the writing staff of the ABC series Castle in 2009, later serving as executive producer and co-showrunner on the show from 2015 to 2016.
Hawley created the NBC series State of Affairs (2014) and the ABC series The Rookie (2018), on which he serves as executive producer and showrunner. He co-created the spinoff The Rookie: Feds (2022) and created the Netflix series The Recruit (2022). His other credits include writing and producing work on The Following, Body of Proof and Training Day. He has also directed episodes of The Rookie.
