Biography
Monica Beletsky is an American television writer and producer. She grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Harvard University. She worked as a theatre director in New York City and the United Kingdom from 2000 to 2006 before moving into television writing.
Her credits include writing and producing on the third season of Fargo (2017), The Leftovers, Friday Night Lights and the first four seasons of Parenthood. She created and served as showrunner on the 2024 Apple TV+ miniseries Manhunt.
Beletsky received shared Emmy, Writers Guild of America and Producers Guild of America nominations for Fargo, and a WGA nomination for Friday Night Lights.
