Biography
Morgan Murphy is an American stand-up comedian, writer, producer and actress. Born on 23 October 1981 in Portland, Oregon, she began her career writing for Jimmy Kimmel Live! and as one of the original writers on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
She has written episodes of Modern Family (including teleplay credits in 2020), Abbott Elementary, 2 Broke Girls and other series, and served as a producer on several of these shows. Murphy has also acted in films including World's Greatest Dad (2009) and It's Kind of a Funny Story (2010), and released the Netflix stand-up special Irish Goodbye.
