Biography
Morten Kaufmann is a Danish film and television producer. He was born on 25 March 1963 and graduated as a producer from the National Danish Film School. He worked at Nimbus Film until 2009 and co-founded the production company Toolbox Film in 2011 with Signe Leick Jensen.
Kaufmann is known for his collaborations with director Thomas Vinterberg, including line producing The Celebration (1998) and producing Submarino (2010) and The Hunt (2012). His other credits include Flame & Citron (2008), The Commune (2016), Enforcement (2020) and Held for Ransom (2019). He has also produced for television and written for series.
His work has earned multiple awards and nominations, including a BAFTA nomination and the Nordic Council Film Prize.
