Biography
Nando Bruno (born Fernando Bruno) was an Italian film actor. He appeared in around 84 films between 1938 and 1961, usually in supporting or character roles.
Born in Rome on 6 October 1895, he began in theatre and variety before his screen debut in L'ha fatto una signora (1938). He is known for roles including Agostino the Sexton in Rome, Open City (1945), Antonio in Flesh Will Surrender (1947), and parts in several films with Alberto Sordi such as The Widower (1959) and The Traffic Policeman (1960). He received the Nastro d'Argento for best supporting actor for his performance in Il delitto di Giovanni Episcopo (1947). Bruno died in Rome in 1963.
