Biography
Nathan Parker is an English screenwriter. He wrote the screenplay for the 2009 science fiction film Moon, directed by Duncan Jones from a story by Jones.
His other screenwriting credits include Blitz (2011), Equals (2015), 2:22 (2017), Our House (2018), teleplays for three episodes of the miniseries The Underground Railroad (2021), and Slingshot (2024). He also wrote and directed the short film Remember Alice Bell? (2011).
Parker was born in London. He is the son of filmmaker Alan Parker. For Moon, he received nominations for a British Independent Film Award for Best Screenplay and a BAFTA Award for Outstanding British Film, and won a Writers' Guild of Great Britain Award for Best First Feature-Length Screenplay and a Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation.
