Biography
Nazanin Boniadi is a British actress. Born in Tehran, Iran, she was raised in London after her family relocated shortly after her birth. She studied biological sciences at the University of California, Irvine, before training in acting, including at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
She played Fara Sherazi in the series Homeland (2013–2014) and shared a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. Other television roles include Nora in How I Met Your Mother (2011–2012) and appearances in Grey's Anatomy and Suits. Film credits include Iron Man (2008) and Ben-Hur (2016). She is also known for her work as a human rights activist focused on Iran.
