Biography
Ned Wever was an American actor who worked in stage, radio, film and television. He graduated from Princeton University and began his career on Broadway before becoming a regular performer in old-time radio serials, with notable roles including the title character in Bulldog Drummond and Dick Tracy.
From the late 1950s he appeared in supporting film roles, including Smitty in Some Came Running (1958), Dr. Raschid in Anatomy of a Murder (1959), FBI Chief E.P. Hackett in The Shaggy Dog (1959) and Clark Wilson in The Prize (1963). His television credits included appearances in Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Get Smart and Petticoat Junction. He also wrote songs, including "Trust in Me".
