Biography
Neil Forsyth is a Scottish screenwriter and author. He was born in 1978 in Dundee and grew up there, attending the High School of Dundee before graduating from the University of Edinburgh. He began writing for a Dundee United fanzine and later worked as a journalist and nightclub promoter before authoring books and moving into television.
Forsyth created and wrote the BBC series Bob Servant Independent (2013) and Guilt (2019), as well as The Gold (2023) for BBC One and Paramount+, and Legends (2026) for Netflix. His production company is Tannadice Pictures. He has written both fiction and non-fiction books and has received numerous television awards.
