Biography
Neil Giuntoli (also credited as Neil Gray Giuntoli) is an American actor born on 20 December 1959 in Chicago, Illinois. A native of Chicago, he attended Francis W. Parker High School, served in the US Navy as a translator in Korea, and began his career in Chicago theatre. He wrote and performed in original plays including "Crate Dweller" and "Hizzoner", the latter of which received a Joseph Jefferson Award citation.
Giuntoli made his screen debut in 1987 and is known for film roles including Eddie Caputo in Child's Play (1988), Jigger in The Shawshank Redemption (1994), and the Hellfire Gunner in Waterworld (1995). On television he has appeared as Brody in Seinfeld, Florus Workman in The Jeff Foxworthy Show, and Billy Quintaine in an episode of Tales from the Crypt.
