Biography
Nelson Lowry is a production designer specialising in stop-motion animation. He served as production designer on Wes Anderson’s Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009).
His earlier credits include art direction on Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride (2005). He has worked extensively with the Laika studio in Portland, Oregon, as production designer on ParaNorman (2012), Kubo and the Two Strings (2016) and Missing Link (2019).
Lowry received the National Society of Film Critics award for production design on Fantastic Mr. Fox and has won a Primetime Emmy among other honours.
