Biography
Nicholas Le Prevost is an English actor. Born on 18 March 1947 in Wiltshire, he was educated at Shaftesbury Grammar School and Kingswood School, Bath, before training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 1973.
His television credits include the role of Nigel Rowan in the 1984 series The Jewel in the Crown, as well as appearances in Brideshead Revisited, The Camomile Lawn, Midsomer Murders, Foyle's War, Agatha Christie's Poirot, Doc Martin and Father Brown. Film roles encompass Clockwise (1986), Shakespeare in Love (1998) and Testament of Youth (2015). He has also worked extensively in radio, including as Jules Maigret for BBC Radio since 2003, and received an Olivier Award nomination in 2002 for his performance in a West End production of My Fair Lady.
