Biography
Nick Dennis (born Nicolas Caravidas) was a Greek American actor. He began his film career in 1947 and appeared in numerous supporting roles, often playing ethnic characters, usually Greek.
His credits include Pablo Gonzales in A Streetcar Named Desire (1951), Nick in Kiss Me Deadly (1955), Rantani in East of Eden (1955), Dionysius in Spartacus (1960) and various parts in the television series Kojak (1973–1978). He also appeared on stage in the original Broadway production of A Streetcar Named Desire and in television series such as Ben Casey (as orderly Nick Kanavaras) and Columbo.
