Biography
Nick Hendrix is an English actor, best known for playing Detective Sergeant Jamie Winter in the ITV series Midsomer Murders since 2016. He is the longest-serving DS in the show's history. Born on 19 March 1985 in Ascot, Berkshire, he grew up near Windsor.
Hendrix studied drama at the University of Exeter and graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in 2010. He has appeared in numerous stage productions in London, including at the National Theatre and in the West End. His other screen credits include roles in Black Mirror, The White Queen, Call the Midwife, Marcella, The Crown, Legend, Suffragette and Captain America: The First Avenger.
He is married to actress Jessica Ellerby and is the nephew of newscaster Alastair Stewart.
