Biography
Nick Krause is an American actor. He was born on 14 April 1992 in Austin, Texas, and raised in Georgetown. His mother, Liz Atherton, is a talent agent, and his sister, Kate Krause, is also an actress. He attended NYOS Charter School and graduated early from Georgetown High School to film The Descendants (2011) in Hawaii.
Krause began acting after attending an improvisation workshop at the age of ten. His breakthrough role was as Sid in Alexander Payne’s The Descendants (2011). Other film credits include How to Eat Fried Worms (2006), ExTerminators (2009), Boyhood (2014) as Charlie, White Rabbit (2013) as Harlon, for which he won Best Actor at the 2014 Catalina Film Festival, Class Rank (2017) and Shoplifters of the World (2021). Television appearances include Parenthood and Grimm.
