Biography
Nicolaj Kopernikus (born Nicolaj Christiansen) is a Danish actor. He trained at the acting school of Odense Teater and graduated in 1994. He adopted his professional name after his film debut in Let's Get Lost (1997).
Kopernikus is best known for portraying Vagn Skærbæk in the first series of the Danish crime drama The Killing (2007). He won a Bodil Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Stig in The Bench (2000). Other credits include The Bridge (2011), King's Game (2004), The Kindness of Strangers (2019) and an episode of Midsomer Murders (2014). He has also directed short films.
