Biography

Nicolas Gaster is a British film editor. Born on 23 May 1946 in Hampstead, London, he began working in the film industry in the mid-1970s, initially in sound editing before moving into picture editing.

He has edited numerous feature films and television productions. His credits include Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead (1990), MirrorMask (2005), Moon (2009), Welcome to the Rileys (2010), Coriolanus (2011), A Little Chaos (2014), The Exception (2016) and an episode of The Great (2020). He has also served as second unit director on several projects.
