Biography
Nicolas Godin is a French musician and composer, best known as one half of the electronic music duo Air alongside Jean-Benoît Dunckel.
Born on 25 December 1969 in Le Chesnay, France, he studied architecture at the École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Versailles, where he met Dunckel. Before forming Air, Godin played in the band Orange. The duo released their debut album Moon Safari in 1998 and composed the score for the film The Virgin Suicides (2000). Godin has also released solo albums including Contrepoint (2015) and composed for the series A Very Secret Service (2015) and the film Fire of Love (2022).
