Biography
Nicolas Gonda is an American film producer. He studied at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University and began his career at Focus Features, working in publicity, marketing and distribution.
Gonda has collaborated extensively with director Terrence Malick. He served as co-producer on The Tree of Life (2011), in which he also appeared as Mr. Reynolds, and as producer on To the Wonder (2013), Knight of Cups (2015), Song to Song (2017) and Voyage of Time: Life's Journey (2017). He produced Hamnet (2025), directed by Chloé Zhao, which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture. In 2012 he co-founded Tugg, a cinema-on-demand distribution platform.
