Biography
Nigel Willoughby is a British cinematographer. He was born on 9 May 1950 in Wandsworth, London.
Willoughby began his career in the film industry as a messenger boy before working as a camera operator on films including Maurice (1987), Sleepy Hollow (1999) and Pearl Harbor (2001). As director of photography he has worked on The Magdalene Sisters (2002), It's a Free World... (2007), Downton Abbey (2011–2014), Penny Dreadful (2015–2016) and the live broadcast production Lost in London (2017). He is a member of the British Society of Cinematographers.
