Biography
Nina Toussaint-White is an English actress. Born on 1 October 1985 in London, she trained at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in Clapham.
She made her screen debut in Casualty in 2007 and appeared in The Bill the following year. In 2009 she joined the cast of EastEnders as nurse Syd Chambers, a role she played until October that year. Subsequent television credits include Mels in Doctor Who (2011), Angie Bailey in Emmerdale (2016), DS Louise Rayburn in Bodyguard (2018), Kate Hatfield in The Feed (2019) and Luna Cujai in the film Kandahar (2023). She has also appeared in GameFace, Showtrial and Shetland.
On stage she performed in The Etienne Sisters at the Theatre Royal Stratford East in 2015, for which she and her co-stars received a nomination for Best Performance in a Musical at the 2016 UK Theatre Awards. She is married to actor Joey Ellis.
