Biography

Noëlle Boisson is a French film editor. She graduated in 1966 from the École nationale supérieure Louis-Lumière in Paris.

Boisson edited Cyrano de Bergerac (1990), directed by Jean-Paul Rappeneau, for which she won the César Award for Best Editing in 1991. She has collaborated frequently with Rappeneau and with Jean-Jacques Annaud. Her other credits include The Bear (1988), The Lover (1992), Seven Years in Tibet (1997) and Two Brothers (2004); she won further César Awards for The Bear and Two Brothers, and received an Academy Award nomination for Best Film Editing for The Bear.
