Biography
Odessa Rae is a Canadian actor and film producer, also credited as Jennifer Holmes for some acting work. She was born on 23 May 1982 in Calgary, Alberta.
She began her career in Japan and has appeared in films including Hard Candy (2006) and Movie 43 (2013), and television series such as Smallville (2001). As a producer, she played a role in the formation of Ivanhoe Pictures and produced the documentary Navalny (2022).
Rae launched RaeFilm Studios in 2021. She produced The Voice of Hind Rajab (2025), which premiered in competition at the Venice Film Festival. She studied international relations at the University of Toronto.
