Biography
Oliver Masucci is a German actor. Born on 6 December 1968 in Stuttgart, he was raised in Bonn and trained at the Berlin University of the Arts from 1990 to 1994. He began his career on stage, appearing at theatres across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and was an ensemble member of the Burgtheater in Vienna from 2009.
Masucci gained international recognition for his portrayal of Ulrich Nielsen in the Netflix series Dark (2017–2020). He played Adolf Hitler in Look Who's Back (2015) and has appeared in films including Never Look Away (2018), When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit (2019), Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (2022) and Day Shift (2022). His performance as Rainer Werner Fassbinder in Enfant Terrible (2020) earned him the 2021 German Film Award for Best Leading Actor, and he received the Bavarian Film Award for Best Actor for Chess Story (2021).
