Biography
Olivia Poulet is an English actress and screenwriter. She was born in London and studied drama at the University of Manchester, graduating in 2001. Her first television role was in the series The Bill.
Poulet is known for playing Emma Messinger in the BBC comedy series The Thick of It (2005–2012) and Suzy in the film In the Loop (2009). Other credits include roles in Sherlock (2010), Death in Paradise (2011), The Musketeers (2014), Fresh Meat (2011) and Blinded by the Light (2019). She has also appeared on stage and worked as a writer and producer on short films.
In 2015 she married actor Laurence Dobiesz.
