Biography
Omar Hashim Epps is an American actor. He was born on 20 July 1973 in New York City and attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.
Epps made his film debut in Juice (1992). His other film roles include Higher Learning (1995), Scream 2 (1997), The Wood (1999), In Too Deep (1999) and Love & Basketball (2000). On television he has played Dr Dennis Gant in ER and Dr Eric Foreman in House (2004–2012).
He has received multiple NAACP Image Awards for his work.
