Biography
Oury Milshtein is a French producer, production manager, actor and director. Born on 6 October 1957 in Paris, he trained at the Beit Tsvi School of Performing Arts in Tel Aviv and has worked in the film industry for over forty years.
He served as producer and production manager on Agnès Varda’s Vagabond (1985) and worked in production roles on her films Jane B. by Agnès V. (1988) and Kung-Fu Master! (1988). He has been executive producer or producer on later features including My Golden Days (2015), Ismael’s Ghosts (2017) and Guy (2018).
Milshtein made his directorial debut with the documentary Pour ton mariage (2023), which he also wrote. He is the son of painter Zwy Milshtein.
