Biography

Paki Smith is a production designer and set decorator. Born in New Zealand on 20 December 1963, he trained at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin and has worked extensively in film and television, initially as a set decorator on major productions.

His credits as production designer include Free Fire (2016), Mary Shelley (2017), The Man Who Invented Christmas (2017), In Fabric (2018), The Turning (2020), Small Things Like These (2024) and the series Bodkin (2024). Earlier set decoration work encompasses Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight Rises (2012), John Carter (2012) and High-Rise (2015).
