Biography
Patrick Cady is a cinematographer and director. He began his career as a camera intern for Roger Deakins on the 1991 film Passion Fish. He earned an MFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and worked as director of photography on the 2000 feature Girlfight.
His cinematography credits include Insecure (2016), for which he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy, Bosch (2015–2020) and Fear the Walking Dead (2016). He has directed episodes of Rectify (2013), Bosch, Bosch: Legacy and other series. Cady is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers and the Directors Guild of America.
