Biography

Patrick Jonsson is a London-based film composer originally from Sweden. He has scored feature films including Scrapper (2023), directed by Charlotte Regan, and The Boogeyman (2023), directed by Rob Savage.

Jonsson is known for his documentary work, including the Academy Award-winning short The White Helmets (2016), for which he received a Primetime Emmy nomination, and the Academy Award- and BAFTA-nominated Virunga (2014). Other credits include Wildcat (2022), Evelyn (2018) and the Netflix series Black Earth Rising (2018). He has collaborated repeatedly with directors Orlando von Einsiedel and Charlotte Regan.
