Biography
Patrick Wachsberger is a producer. Born in September 1951 in Paris, he is the son of actress Yvette Lebon and producer Nat Wachsberger. He moved to Los Angeles in 1977 and worked in film distribution before joining Summit Entertainment, which he later led as chief executive and majority shareholder until its acquisition by Lionsgate in 2012.
Wachsberger has produced or executive-produced films including Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005), Vanilla Sky (2001), the Step Up series (2006–2014), Letters to Juliet (2010) and A Monster Calls (2016). He produced CODA (2021) with Philippe Rousselet and others; the film won the Academy Award for Best Picture. He now runs Picture Perfect Federation and has been involved in projects such as Bad Genius (2024).
