Biography

Patti Podesta is an American production designer for film and television. She began her career designing title sequences, including for Bound (1996), and contributing to Jurassic Park (1993), before moving into production design in the mid-1990s.

Her work on Memento (2000) helped establish her reputation. Subsequent credits include Love & Other Drugs (2010), Bobby (2006), The Black Phone (2021) and its sequel Black Phone 2 (2025), as well as television series such as Hannibal, American Gods and Defending Jacob. She has received multiple nominations for Primetime Emmy and Art Directors Guild awards.

Podesta holds an MFA from Claremont Graduate School and previously worked as a media artist, with video works exhibited in the United States and Europe. She has taught at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and designed a Stanley Kubrick exhibition at LACMA.
