Biography
Patty McCormack is an American actress. Born Patricia Ellen Russo on 21 August 1945 in New York City, she began her career as a child performer. She originated the role of Rhoda Penmark in the 1954 Broadway production of The Bad Seed and received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for the 1956 film adaptation.
McCormack has sustained a career in theatre, film and television for over seven decades. Her credits include Pat Nixon in Frost/Nixon (2008), Liz La Cerva in The Sopranos, and guest roles in series such as Grey's Anatomy, Criminal Minds and Desperate Housewives. She has also appeared in later films including The Master (2012).
