Biography
Paul Cotter is a British director and writer. He directed an episode of the Channel 4 series Shameless (2012) and episodes of Vera (2013) and Waterloo Road (2012). His feature debut Bomber (2009), which he also wrote and produced, premiered at SXSW and received North American distribution through Film Movement.
Born in Brighton, England, Cotter studied geography in Manchester and worked on glaciers in Pakistan before becoming a filmmaker. His short films have screened at festivals including Berlin, Sundance and SXSW. He has also directed episodes of Hollyoaks, Doctors and Rocket's Island, and written radio plays for the BBC.
