Biography
Paul Grinder was a New Zealand director, first assistant director and producer. He entered the film and television industry in the late 1980s and worked extensively in both New Zealand and international productions.
Grinder directed one episode of Xena: Warrior Princess (2000) and served as second unit director on many more, as well as directing multiple episodes of Power Rangers series including Ninja Storm, DinoThunder and S.P.D.. He worked as first assistant director or second unit director on films such as District 9 (2009), 30 Days of Night (2007) and The Double (2011), and on series including Spartacus and Black Sails.
He died on 26 May 2022.
