Biography
Paul M. Heller was an American film producer. Born in New York City on 25 September 1927, he began his career as a set designer and art director for theatre, film and television before moving into production.
His early credits include David and Lisa (1962). He later worked as a production executive at Warner Bros. and founded Sequoia Pictures, whose first film was Enter the Dragon (1973). Heller produced Withnail & I (1987) and was executive producer on My Left Foot: The Story of Christy Brown (1989).
Other productions include Black Belt Jones (1974), The Ultimate Warrior (1975), Truck Turner (1974) and The Wilby Conspiracy (1975). He died in Beverly Hills, California, on 28 December 2020.
