Biography
Paul Raci is an American character actor known for work in film, television and theatre. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he was raised as the hearing son of deaf parents and is fluent in American Sign Language. He served as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
Raci received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as Joe in Sound of Metal (2020). His other credits include Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (1993), Parks and Recreation (2009) and Sing Sing (2024), in which he plays Brent Buell.
