Biography
Paula Poundstone is an American stand-up comedian and actress. Born on 29 December 1959 in Huntsville, Alabama, she began performing stand-up comedy at open-mike nights in Boston in the late 1970s.
She is known for voice roles including Forgetter Paula in the animated films Inside Out (2015) and Inside Out 2 (2024), Paula Small in the series Home Movies (1999), and characters in Hercules (1998) and Summer Camp Island (2018). Poundstone has performed a series of HBO comedy specials and is a frequent panelist on the National Public Radio quiz show Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me.
