Biography
Pendleton Ward is an American animator, writer, producer and director. He created the series Adventure Time (2010–2018) and has worked for Cartoon Network Studios, Frederator Studios and Netflix Animation.
Ward studied at the California Institute of the Arts. He wrote and storyboarded an episode of Over the Garden Wall (2014) and contributed to series including The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack (2008), Steven Universe (2013) and The Midnight Gospel (2020).
Born Ward Taylor Pendleton Johnston in San Antonio, Texas, in 1982, he is also known for creating the web series Bravest Warriors.
