Biography
Adam Muto is an American writer, storyboard artist, animator and producer. He studied at the California Institute of the Arts, where he was a classmate of Pendleton Ward, creator of Adventure Time.
Muto began his work on Adventure Time (2010) as a storyboard artist. He advanced to creative director, supervising director, supervising producer, co-executive producer and, from mid-season five, showrunner and executive producer. He has also written episodes of Steven Universe (2013) and Steven Universe Future (2019).
Muto received two Primetime Emmy Awards for episodes of Adventure Time: "Jake the Brick" (2015) and "Islands Part 4: Imaginary Resources" (2017).
