Biography
Pepe Serna is an American actor and artist. He was born on 23 July 1944 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He moved to Hollywood in 1969 and made his film debut in The Student Nurses (1970).
Serna is best known for playing Angel Fernandez in Scarface (1983). His other film roles include appearances in The Jerk (1979), Silverado (1985), American Me (1992) and Downsizing (2017). He has also worked extensively in television and on stage, including his solo show El Ruco, Chuco, Cholo, Pachuco.
In addition to acting, Serna is a painter. He has received the Screen Actors Guild Heritage Achievement Award and other honours from Latino organisations.
