Biography
Peter B. Kowalski is a cinematographer and director who has worked primarily in American television. He began in the camera department, serving as camera operator and first assistant camera on the series Babylon 5 (1994–1998).
Kowalski was director of photography on One Tree Hill (2003) for 61 episodes between 2004 and 2012, and directed seven episodes of the series from 2008 to 2012. He has held similar cinematography roles on series including Rizzoli & Isles (2013–2016), The Last Ship (2017–2018), The Gifted (2017–2019) and Walker (2021–2024), where he also directed one episode. Additional credits include directing episodes of Rizzoli & Isles.
