Biography

Peter Bennett-Jones (born 11 March 1955) is a British television and film producer and talent agent. He is best known for his work on the Mr. Bean television series (1990–1995), the feature films Bean (1997) and Mr. Bean's Holiday (2007), and The Vicar of Dibley (1994–2020).

He was educated at Winchester College and read law at Magdalene College, Cambridge, where he participated in the Footlights and served as president of the university amateur dramatic club. After early theatre production work, he founded the Tiger Television Group (later Tiger Aspect Productions) in 1988 and the agency PBJ Management. He has also been chairman of Burning Bright Productions.

Bennett-Jones received the BAFTA Special Award and the Royal Television Society Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011. He was appointed CBE in 2014 for services to the entertainment industry and charity, having chaired Comic Relief and Sport Relief for many years.
