Biography
Richard Curtis is a British screenwriter, producer and director. Born on 8 November 1956 in Wellington, New Zealand, he moved to the United Kingdom as a child and studied at Christ Church, Oxford.
He co-wrote the sitcom Blackadder (1983–1989) with Rowan Atkinson and Ben Elton. Curtis wrote the films Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994) and Notting Hill (1999), co-wrote Bridget Jones's Diary (2001) and directed Love Actually (2003). He co-founded the charity Comic Relief.
