Biography
Duncan Kenworthy is a British film and television producer. He was educated at Christ's College, Cambridge, where he read English, and at the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania.
He began his career in children's television, working on Sesame Street and co-creating Fraggle Rock. He later served as vice-president of production at Jim Henson Productions and produced series including The Storyteller and Gulliver's Travels. In film he produced Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994) and Notting Hill (1999), both written by Richard Curtis, and co-founded the production company DNA Films with Andrew Macdonald in 1997. His other credits include Love Actually (2003) and The Eagle (2011).
Kenworthy was appointed OBE in 1999. He has held senior roles at BAFTA, including chair of the film committee and vice-president.
