Biography

Alan Wareing is a British television director. He began his career at the BBC as an assistant floor manager and later as a production assistant on series including Doctor Who, before completing the BBC's director's course.

He directed the seventh Doctor serials The Greatest Show in the Galaxy (1988), Ghost Light (1989) and Survival (1989). Wareing has also directed episodes of EastEnders, Casualty, The Bill, Emmerdale, Coronation Street, Wycliffe and other series.
