Biography
Richard Holthouse is a New Zealand-born television director and cinematographer. He was born on 20 February 1951.
Holthouse has directed numerous episodes of long-running British series, including 81 episodes of Coronation Street (1979–1990), 24 of Emmerdale (1982–1988), 16 of Midsomer Murders (2004–2011) and 16 of The Bill (1990–2001). His credits also include EastEnders, Casualty, Taggart, Ultimate Force and three episodes of Jonathan Creek (1999–2000).
