Biography
Chris Murray is a television writer and producer. He created the BBC medical drama Doctors (2000–2024) and the police series Merseybeat (2001–2004). He has written multiple episodes of Midsomer Murders (2013–2021) as well as episodes of Casualty, Holby City, Agatha Raisin, Van der Valk and other series.
Murray has also written for Lewis, New Tricks and EastEnders. He previously worked as a stand-up comedian and has contributed to series including Sea of Souls. He holds a Master's degree in the occult and paranormal.
